Calling all book club friends!

Join me in learning how to slow down and work with your hands.

At every Sip & Stitch workshop you will gain knowledge and experience in hand sewing--learning some of the most common hand sewing techniques, such as the quilter's knot, a running stitch, a ladder stitch, and burying threads.

You will also receive a goodie bag containing with hand sewing needles, snips (really small scissors), a thimble, high quality thread, and fabric to make 3 fabric corner bookmarks.

This is a great time to let your mind rest from the busy week behind you, and to mentally recharge for the week ahead. You will learn a skill that has been passed down through millennia and is often associated with health benefits like decreased blood pressure, decreased anxiety, and mindfulness.

So, get your friends together and let's learn how to sew!

Do I need to bring anything to the class?

All materials for the workshop will be provided on the day of the workshop. Just bring yourself and an open mind to learn.

Is it BYOB or is a drink included?

The workshop includes all of the materials to make the stated item, plus one drink from the venue. Must be 21+ to purchase a ticket for a venue serving alcohol.

How long will the class take?

The venue is booked for 2 hours, which is plenty of time to learn the sewing techniques and to finish the project. You may even be able to complete multiple projects!

Can I buy a ticket at the door?

Yes, you can either pre-pay for the class or purchase a ticket at the time of the event. However, there is a $5 surcharge when you purchase your ticket at the venue.
